Gambling harms can take many forms, with possible negative impacts on peoples’ health, relationships and resources. Suicide is one of the most serious harms associated with gambling. The Gambling Commission and GambleAware led a research project to better understand the relationship between gambling harms and suicide in England, and to guide the development of new interventions.

This executive summary briefly summarizes the work that was done in three research projects, and lists the key recommendations for clinical practice resulting from that work. The full reports from the three individual projects are available in the "Related Resources" section below.
