GREO has partnered with Research Impact to produce Research Snapshots - plain language summaries of gambling and problem gambling literature. In the snapshots, peer-reviewed journal articles on gambling are summarized to make research knowledge more accessible and help enable evidence-based decision making.
Research Snapshots have replaced the former Synopsis Project to provide greater access to gambling literature. The Snapshot format highlights the most important information and explains how the research can be applied to your work, life, and/or health.
All Research Snapshots are produced by trained plain language writers.
The Synopsis Project was developed to access the rich knowledge contained within gambling literature. The Synopses are clear and concise summaries of peer-reviewed journal articles on gambling research.
Each synopsis outlines the article's purpose, methodology, key results, limitations, and conclusions. The plain language format allows you to determine the relevance of the published article.
