A number of frameworks have been developed to classify gambling harms. The aim of this review is to map and compare existing frameworks on gambling harms in terms of content and scope. The authors identified seven research articles that present four different frameworks. Three frameworks focus on the types of harms. One framework focuses on the types of risk factors, which often correspond to the types of harms in the other frameworks. The authors summarized the frameworks and discussed four issues or gaps in current frameworks.
