Journal: International Gambling Studies

Year Published: 2022

Date Added: October 12, 2022

This article is a systematic review of recent studies that used the Pathways model or other models to subtype people with gambling disorder. The authors searched for studies that had been published in a peer-reviewed journal between 2010 and 2021. The authors identified 38 studies. Fourteen studies supported the Pathways model, with several studies proposing some changes. Twenty-four studies used other subtyping models. The authors discussed the findings from their review. They also discussed gaps in current research and directions for future research.
