This article summarized and evaluated the knowledge of internet-delivered programmes for the prevention, harm reduction, and early intervention for gambling. Fifteen studies were included in the review, with only one examining prevention. Seven studies were on harm reduction and 7 were on early intervention. Eight studies were randomized controlled trials. About half of the studies included people accessing online betting sites. Four types of interventions were identified. The first type was personalized feedback and personalized normative feedback. The second type was limit setting. The third was self-directed cognitive and behavioural therapy. The last type was self-exclusion. The results suggest that there is promise in delivering prevention, harm reduction, and early interventions in an online format. But, more studies are needed in this area.
