This article draws attention to the lack of research on gambling interventions in the UK. This is particularly important because the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is currently creating guidelines around the identification, assessment, and management of harmful gambling. This article highlights a need for new research priorities to support the treatment of harmful gambling in the UK.
