This research was conducted to determine where self-exclusion programs in Alberta were effective and where further improvements should be made. Findings were shared in this presentation at the 7th European Conference on Gambling Studies and Policy Issues between July 1–4, 2008. The slides outline voluntary self-exclusion, the evaluation process and its objectives, guiding questions, methodologies, a literature review, and future planning. Statistics and graphs are provided throughout the presentation to demonstrate findings of the research conducted.
