This report outlines a framework to respond to gambling related harm. The Framework takes a cultural perspective. The goal of the Framework is to complement services that provide support for gambling harms. It seeks to enhance practice, increase accessibility, and provide tools. The report outlines the methodology used to develop the Framework. It includes research findings on gambling-related harms among ethnic minority communities. The Framework is wrapped in three frames:
- Cultural Knowledge,
- Cultural Practice, and
- Cultural Change.
It then includes three dimensions that inform culturally responsive practices to address gambling-related harms. The dimensions are Harms, Stressors, and Strategies. The report includes techniques to apply the Framework.
