The National UK Research Network for Behavioural Addictions (NUK­BA) was established to identify unmet research and treatment needs for behavioural addictions in the UK. In this article, the authors discuss research and treatment services for disordered gambling in the UK. They describe issues with how gambling research is currently funded. The authors then outline six key research priorities as identified by NUK­BA.
