Currently, there is no consensus about the most effective way to treat gambling disorder. This article outlines a systematic review and a network meta-analysis (NMA) that compared the effects of pharmacological treatments on symptoms and quality of life in the management of gambling disorder. This article helps clarify which medications have the highest efficacy and are most tolerable for treating gambling disorder. The findings can inform clinical practice and guidelines for the treatment of gambling disorder.
