Gamgard is an online tool for rating the risk levels of gambling games in terms of game designs and features. This report evaluated the effectiveness of Gamgard. It found that Gamgard is based on scientifically credible research. Overall, game developers, operators and regulators are satisfied with the tool. But, there are several ways it could be improved to make risk ratings more meaningful and consistent. The report recommends Gamgard developers continue to update the tool based on new research and encourage their customers to fund gambling harms research.
