The training and educational needs of responsible gambling professionals

Responsible gambling (RG) programs aim to protect people from gambling problems. Most RG training programs have been created for frontline casino staff. There are no training programs that teach RG professionals, such as gambling operators and regulators, how to run useful RG programs. In this report, the authors identify the training needs of RG professionals that are not currently being met. They recommend topics that RG training programs should include.
