Safer Gambling Evaluations
Featured below are evaluations of safer gambling initiatives from around the world, grouped by programme topic area. These are not large-scale or intense research projects. Rather, they are context-specific evaluations conducted in the real-world.
Use these resources to:
- Explore the safer gambling work that is being carried out and evaluated internationally.
- Learn from previous experiences with measures to reduce harms from gambling and avoid ‘reinventing the wheel’.
- Help stakeholders at different levels understand the relevance of evaluation activities and achievements, thus improving collaboration and co-ordination for effective gambling initiatives.
- Adapt the evaluation designs of other organisations to assess and improve activities that reduce harms from gambling.
- Inform decision makers to help avoid common mistakes and promote a more enabling environment to ensure safer gambling.
